We are delighted to invite you to our Home Garden Conference 2025, which will take place on 18th and 19th September in Münster, Germany, at the occasion of the centennial anniversary of longstanding Fleuroselect member Bruno Nebelung.

The two-day programme is an excellent opportunity to discover the latest home gardening trends, obtain further insights into the German market and catch up with industry colleagues.

100 years Bruno Nebelung

Bruno Nebelung GmbH is a family-owned horticultural company based in Everswinkel, Germany, reaching 100 years of experience in supplying high-quality seeds, bulbs, and young plants this year. The company is well-known for their established brand Kiepenkerl, which offers a wide range of seeds in its distinctive pictorial packets and vegetable plants for home gardeners.

Under the leadership of Nico Volmary and Werner Großeschallau, Bruno Nebelung continues to combine tradition with innovation across the European horticultural market and presents the perfect base for Fleuroselect's Home Garden Conference 2025.

Thursday 18.09.

We will spend a full day at Bruno Nebelung, starting with morning presentations that provide insights into the company and its operations, followed by a guided tour of the facilities, including seed storage, packaging, and the order picking process in all its facets.

After lunch, we will explore Bruno Nebelung's extensive flower, vegetable and herb assortment in the field. Also the Fleuroselect annual trial, recent Gold Medal and FleuroStar winners as well as the complete Year of the Begonia display will be on show.

Friday 19.09.

The second day of the conference will take place at the Best Western Premier Seehotel Krautkrämer in Münster and will focus on industry-related presentations and discussions.

The influence of a healthier soil on plant strength will be explored by Pier Oosterkamp, EcoStyle, and Ruth Cramer, Let it Grow. Arnold Wittkamp, Founder of Thursd and passionate defender of the green image of our industry, will explain how our industry needs to protect its naturally green reputation from a shifting public perception. Finally, Sylvia Weigner from IGA 2027 will present how the upcoming IGA - International Garden Show - will greenify the German Ruhr Area in 2027.

The Hotel

Our hotel for the duration of the conference will be the Best Western Premier Seehotel Krautkrämer. The hotel is situated on the sea front at Hiltruper See surrounded by woods, fields and meadows. It offers full conference facilities and a delicious cuisine. The hotel is easily reachable and has a large adjacent parking space.

Travel Tips

By Airplane

The nearest airport is Münster Osnabrück International Airport (FMO) – approximately 35 km from the hotel. A taxi ride takes about 35 minutes. The hotel offers an airport shuttle upon request. Please contact the hotel in advance to arrange this service.

If you prefer continuing with public transport, you can continue by train or tram to the train station Münster-Hiltrup or by bus until the stop Adolf-Wentrup Weg. From both you have about a 2km walk remaining to the hotel or can take a taxi for the last part of your journey.

Other major international airports include:

  • Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) – approximately 120 km from the hotel.
  • Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN) – approximately 150 km from the hotel.
  • Frankfurt Airport (FRA) – approximately 300 km from the hotel.

By Car

From the North (e.g., Hamburg, Bremen, Osnabrück): 
Leave the motorway A1 at the exit "Hiltrup / Amelsbüren" (No. 79a) and from there continue in the direction of Hiltrup. Take the L884 towards Hiltrup (Kopenhagener Strasse/ Wiedaustrasse), continue to the L885 (Amelsbürener Strasse), turn right at the roundabout towards Hansestrasse (K11), continue to the junction with Westfalenstrasse (B54), turn right towards Hamm/Werne and after the 2nd canal bridge turn left to the hotel.

From the South (e.g., Frankfurt, Cologne, Dortmund):
Take the A1 motorway to the "Ascheberg" exit. Turn left onto the B58 in the direction of Ahlen, Drensteinfurt. After approx. 3.7 km turn left at the junction onto the B54 towards Münster and follow the road, drive through the village of Rinkerode and after approx. 9.7 km turn right to the hotel.

From the West (e.g., Recklinghausen, Netherlands):
Take the A43 motorway in the direction of Münster. Shortly before the end of the motorway, turn right towards Bielefeld. At the 1st exit on the right, take the B54 towards Hamm, Werne, Hiltrup. Drive through Hiltrup, after the 2nd canal bridge turn left to the hotel.

Parking:
Parking spaces are available at the hotel for 9€ per night. Alternatively, there is a public parking area nearby which is available free of charge. Both options have sufficient availability and do not require pre-reservation.

Electric Vehicle Charging:
3 Type-2 ports, including a Tesla Supercharger, available on-site. Electricity is charged at 59ct per KW/h.

By Train

The nearest Train Station is Münster-Hiltrup, located about 2 km from the hotel. The main train station is Münster Hauptbahnhof, located approximately 10 km from the hotel. You can continue by bus from the main station to the stop Adolf-Wentrup Weg, however the stop is still located about 2km from the hotel. If you do not wish to walk that distance, you can take a taxi from either train station or contact the hotel to arrange a shuttle service.
