Pelargonium x hortorum Pinto Premium White to Rose, a beauty in permanent evolution! The colour in the umbels changes from white at the opening of the flower petals to rose at the maturing stage, adding ever-evolving colour in the garden. Thanks to its showy flowers and foliage, this seed raised variety really stands out in pots, containers and beddings. Flower heads from approx. 15 cm diameter add patches of white and pink to the garden from the end of April until October. Vigorous and easy to grow, this Pelargonium prefers full to partial sun and average to fertile soil that drains well. It requires regular deadheading for best appearance and flower production.

Growing:

Sow seeds at 22-25°C at the beginning January in 128 or 288 plugs. The soil should be moist but not saturated. Put in germination chamber or on a bench in greenhouse. Start growing at 22°, then reduce temperature to 20°, 18° and 16°C. Transplantation after 5 weeks spacing at 11 cm. Use Cycocel 750 ppm 2-3 times, based on needs. Additional light will speed up flowering. Soil should be medium moist with a pH level of 5.8 to 6.3 and EC around 1.2.
